Description
This photo is taken on private property, in the headwaters of the Chattooga River, near Cashiers, North Carolina. The property owners refer to this small waterfall as Corkscrew Falls, though I have been informed that there is a more-well-known waterfall by the same name further down the river. This spot is said to have some of the best trout fishing in the area, hence the owners' desire to keep it private and healthy. For me, I was happy to just be fishing for photos.

Awesome shot of this waterfall - love the look the water has as it pools below the falls. The angle of the shot is beautiful. Gorgeous scene, very peaceful and lovely.
